Are you between 16 and 19 years old? Are you a social entrepreneur, community activist or volunteer? Do you want to bring about positive change? Become a Global Changemaker!

The organizers are accepting applications for the Fifth Annual Global Youth Summit of the Global Changemakers programme, which will take place from 21-27 November 2010, United Kingdom.

Global Changemakers is a vibrant community of young activists, volunteers and social entrepreneurs. Bringing together people from 100 countries, it’s a place to share experiences, build skills, test ideas and have access to some truly amazing opportunities.

Since its inception in 2007, Global Changemakers, a British Council programme, has been creating and supporting a growing global network of young social entrepreneurs and community activists helping them become Global Changemakers. The growing global network shares ideas, experiences and best practices in order to help young people make practical and visible differences in their communities, countries and regions.

Eligibility
* social entrepreneur, community activist or volunteer worker aged 16-19, who haven’t yet taken part in a Global Changemakers youth summit;
* reasonable command of English;
* good communication skills.
