Open to: Students under 35 years, in the field of Nutrition or Food Behaviours

The Louis Bonduelle Foundation, the aim of which is to promote public interest in vegetables by working to bring about a long-term change in eating habits, is supporting Research on Nutrition and Food Behaviours, by providing financial assistance to students (doctors or researchers) carrying out a thesis or a research project.
For an original Research project. The aim of this Award is to help the Award winner to cover a part of his/her personal financial needs while finishing up his/her work or thesis, in a unit, hospital department or research laboratory, on a research project in the field of Nutrition or Food Behaviours.
Eligibility
Students aged less than 35 years on the 31st December 2010 and enrolled in a university.
Applicants must be from the following disciplines: Nutrition, Psychology, Sociology, Medicine, Dietetics, Pharmaceutics, Sciences, Agri-food and Social Sciences. The Award is open to any candidate who submits a project on Nutrition or Eating Habits.
Candidates must specify in the application form any other financial resources received for this project.
Application
The application, which must be in French, or in English, must include (4 copies of each):
1 – The application form
2 – Summary of the project (approximately one page long)
3 – Details of the research project (approximately 10 pages long)
4 – A form from the laboratory or hosting service agreeing to the application (commitment of the host lab.).

The award will be granted during Spring in 2011. It will be presented during a public ceremony during which the candidate will present the winning project.
This Award, the aim of which is to help a candidate, is not to be used to pay for the host laboratory’s running costs.
