Venue: 11 – 15 April 2011, Tønsberg, Norway

On this Training Course participants will learn how to develop a Youth Democracy Project and complete an application for a grant of maximum € 50 000 from Youth in Action.

Main objectives
• gain an in-depth understanding of Youth Democracy Projects and how to pply for grants from Youth in Action
• develop a project, write an action plan and complete an application
• learn methods and be given tools for planning and running a Youth Democracy Project
• experience how one finds and cooperates with a project partner

Eligibility

Youth groups such as youth councils, youth organisations and youth clubs. They can send a team to this training of at least 2 participants (1 youth worker/leader/coordinator and 1-2 young persons).

Plus, to be eligible, the participants need to have plans to develop a Youth Democracy Project through Youth in Action around topics of youth participation. The project should support or promote young people’s active role in society and issues that affect young people.

Costs

Food, accommodation and participant’s fee will be paid for by the Norwegian National Agency. Please check with the National Agency of your country regarding reimbursement of your travel costs.
