The Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship

Open to: social entrepreneurs whose organizations are in early stages of development from USA, UK and France
Fellowship: travel costs, lodging and some meals
Venue: July 15 – July 31  2011, Cambridge University, UK

The two-week program will be conducted from July 15, 2011 – July 31, 2011 at University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School in partnership with the Center for History and Economics, King’s College, Cambridge University, UK. Besides academic and business training, the program will also encompass extracurricular cultural activities in Cambridge and London.

The main aims of this fellowship are:
* create a new model for conflict resolution by blending social entrepreneurship, humanities and cross-cultural dialogue
* build a vibrant network of social entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations enhancing peer-to-peer learning
* enable social enterprises and non-profit organizations to reach sustainability
* create new dynamics in Muslim-Jewish dialogue by bringing together Muslim and Jewish social entrepreneurs
* enable change-makers to cut across cultural, religious and geographical boundaries

In January of 2012 four-day follow up intensive training session will be held at ESSEC Business School in Paris, France.

Eligibility

* Social entrepreneurs whose organizations are in early stages of development
* Workers of a non-profit organization/charity. You are working towards some level of financial sustainability and reducing dependency on fund raising
* Your organization works in one of the following sectors
# Environment and new technologies
# Social media
# Health
# Community Service
# Education
# Creative Arts
# Intercultural & Interfaith projects
* Proficiency in English is required

The application consists of three parts:
1. A questionnaire to share your personal details and motivations behind applying to the program
2. Your CV
3. Your business plan outline (Max 3 pages)

Fellowship

All selected candidates are provided with return tickets to & from their place of residence, accommodation and most meals. Some dinners are the responsibility of the candidates.
