Master degree scholarships in economics for the year 2011 has been announced by the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. Barcelona GSE offers seven programs leading to two master degrees: the Master Degree in Economics and Finance and the Master Degree in Specialized Economic Analysis. The programs give students the analytical skills and specialized knowledge for a wide variety of career opportunities in regulatory agencies, international economic institutions, corporations, and academia, among others.
There are four main criteria for admission: academic preparation, English language requirement, quantitative skills (GRE/GMAT), and letters of recommendation.
The specific requirements listed below should be considered orientational rather than absolute. Excellence in one area may compensate for a shortcoming in another. In the end what is evaluated is the whole file.
English Language Requirement
All Barcelona GSE master programs are taught entirely in English.
