The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health is a unique collaboration between three institutions — the Bloomberg School of Public Health, the School of Medicine, and the School of Nursing – that harnesses the expertise of its dedicated health and medical professionals to address a myriad of global health challenges: HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, malnutrition, hepatitis and other threats to health, especially in developing countries.

Scholarships

The Bloomberg School of Public Health awards tuition scholarships on a highly competitive basis to a small portion of the full-time students in the incoming class. The scholarship covers full tuition for the 11-month MPH program and for one year of a two-year MHS or MS program.

Application Process

All applications accepted for the full-time MPH program are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. Your admission materials serve as your scholarship application.

There are numerous application deadlines and requirements that vary by department and program, so be sure to correctly identify the application deadline and requirements for your particular program of interest.

In general, degree program applicants must submit the following supporting documents in addition to the online application:

* GRE or other appropriate standardized test score
* Three (3) letters of recommendation
* Official transcripts from ALL educational institutions attended (please see special instructions for international academic records)
* Resume or curriculum vita
* TOEFL OR IELTS scores (for international applicants from countries/education programs where English is not the official language)
