Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships in Film, Visual & Performing Arts

The School of Arts at the University of Kent, with the support of the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation, has a scholarship available for the next academic year, for a Hong Kong resident graduate studying any of our taught Film MA programs:
* MA Film Studies
* MA Film Studies (Paris)

Eligibility

The studentship competition is open to any Hong Kong graduate or mainland resident with a First Degree in an Arts subject or related subject from a Hong Kong University, intending to study for a full time taught MA in the School of Arts.

Application

Candidates must make a formal application for postgraduate research study at the University of Kent.
You must apply for a place on your chosen program of study through the University application procedure.

In addition, please provide the following:
* covering letter containing two brief statements (max 200 words each), outlining why you wish to continue your study of film and why Kent offers you this opportunity
* a sample of previous work
* two academic references electronically to the following:

Scholarship

The scholarship will pay £15,000 over one year, which will contribute to tuition fees and accommodation.
