Short Film Competition: “Baltic Sea Region – A Good Place for Living “

Open to: all young people between the ages of 15 and 30 from the Baltic Sea countries

The “Baltic Sea Region – a good place for living” short film competition is Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation (BSSSC). The main aim is not only to show the short film talents of young people but also to promote the Baltic Sea Region as a  good place to live, work and education.

Participants must be form the Baltic Sea Region, and make a short film on how they see the Region. The film should promote the Baltic Sea Region as a good place for living, working and education.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all young people between the ages of 15 and 30 from the Baltic Sea countries – Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Russia.

Submission

Submission must be made online.

Submission process:

1. Create an account with YouTube or Vimeo
2. Upload your film
3. Fill the on-line registration form

Requirements

* each participant can only submit one video
* all submissions must be made online
* preference will be give to films with o longer that 2 minutes
* films with more than minutes will not be accepted

Prizes

1st: a professional video editing software value 900 euro and a free ticket and accommodation for the purpose of taking part in a youth seminar during this year’s BSSSC conference in Szczecin, October 3-7, 2011
2nd: a video camera value 450 euro
3rd: a mp3 player value 100 euro
