Description

BI Norwegian Business School offers a four year PhD program in business administration. The program features six areas of specialization: Economics, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Organization, Marketing, and Strategic Management.

The Department of Marketing is currently inviting applications for a new PhD scholarship. The doctoral program in marketing is designed to produce graduates that are able to contribute to the advancement of marketing theory and practice. The program focuses on developing the doctoral candidates theoretical knowledge and methodological skills required to become successful marketing researchers. We encourage applications from students who have a strong background in disciplines that are fundamental to marketing such as economics, psychology and sociology, are interested in an academic career in research and teaching, and possess strong communication and analytical skills. After successful completion of the program we expect our graduates to be placed at leading research institutions.

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed a two year (120 ECTS) Master’s Degree with thesis work (preferably a Master of Science) by January 2012 to be considered for a scholarship. An average of grade B or better is required. The four-year scholarship is set according to the Norwegian State Salary Scale, and currently pays NOK 372.700,- per year (approximately USD 69,000). The position is linked to The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund (Statens Pensjonskasse). The scholarship involves 25% TA/RA responsibilities. If applicants are otherwise equally qualified, female applicants will be given preference.   • Certificate of a Master of Science degree or equivalent, please include transcripts of grades
  • A Diploma Supplement or a similar document describing in detail the study and grade system and the rights for further studies associated with the obtained degree
  • Other relevant certificates and transcripts
  • A project proposal (5-10 pages including topic, proposed method, schedule)
  • CV
  • A research plan with milestones and a list of the courses you plan to take
  • Letters of recommendations from relevant employers/tutors providing evidence of your skills as a researcher(a minimum of 2 letters)
  • Certificates from previously completed courses at the doctoral level, if requesting approval of these for the Ph.D. programme at BI Norwegian Business School (see last section of § 3.1.1 in our Ph.D. Regulations)
  • A complete list of all publications and/or other documented relevant activities

Furthermore, note that any documents forwarded after the application deadline will not be considered. Exceptions will only be made for students who are completing their master’s degree in 2011 and do not have a final certificate when applying. Please note that you will not be able to revise your application once it has been submitted.

    nivel treinta y tres es que contamos con muy pocos movimientos, de ahí que hay que intentar siempre y en todo momento mover los caramelos de las gelatinas inferiores, de esta forma
    muy frecuentemente se destruirán solas las gelatinas superiores.
