Description

Since 1990, YMFE has awarded scholarships worth more than 1 Million EUR in total to over 850 outstanding young musicians all over Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for music students.
A total of 43 Scholarships in 29 countries will be awarded to full-time students in 2011/2012.
In 2011/2012, the scholarships’ discipline is Brass & Woodwind. Regulations may vary depending on the country.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to music students not older than 25 years. The scholarship program is available in the following countries, though implementation, application and selection methods differ for each country.

Scholarship

A total of 43 Scholarships in 29 countries will be awarded to full-time students in 2011/2012.

Application

You can apply by downloading an filling the application form and to send it to the appropriate contact address together with a recording of two titles.

  • Please make sure to send a CD, DVD or Mini Disc with your recordings together with the application form.
  • The length of both pieces should not exceed more than 20 minutes.
  • The quality of the sound does not have an effect on the later selection process.

Note that the application and selection methods differ for each country.

The closing date for applications for the 2011/2012 Scholarships is November 30th 2011.
