Description
The Dekeyser & Friends Foundation invites applications by young people from different countries, cultures and social strata to become a Fellow in the Music Project with world famous conductor Christoph Poppen. The project will be held in Hamburg where the young people will learn how to inspire people and change the world through music for two months from September-December 2012, followed by a ten-month period, during which they will work on their own projects at home supported by the D&F Academy.
Fellow responsibilities include:
• Responsibility to obtain a passport and necessary visa for the project
country and to cover the related expenses.
• Commitment for each Fellow to honor the D&F Fellowship by contributing
actively to the project and your Fellow team.
• The cost for mandatory vaccinations as well as the health check, if
applicable. Travel costs to and from the airport in home country. Pocket
money to cover your personal needs.
• Medication and treatment expenses for pre-existing medical conditions
(e.g. diabetes, high or low blood pressure, etc.).
Eligibility
The Foundation welcomes applications from all young individuals (between
the ages 18 and 28), who are passionate about music and look forward to the
exchange with the Project Friend Christoph Poppen.
Fellowship
The fellowship is fully funded and includes the following:
• Tuition and all project-related activities
• Transportation to and from the project site (including the flight from
home to project country and transport from the airport to project site)
• Full board (three meals per day) and accommodation in shared single-sex
rooms in a shared apartment for the project duration
• Group computers, video cameras, photo cameras and IT equipment for
project related work
• Support with all necessary documents for the visa application process as
well as documents to prepare Fellows for the project
• health, accident, travel and third party reliability insurance
