How Can the EU do better in YOUR country/ Balkans?
Have you ever had the chance to assess the EU performance in the your country/Balkans?
Have you ever had an idea how the EU should improve its performance in your country/Balkans?
Are you a young person aged 18-30, thinking that the EU should hear YOUR voice?
viEUpoint is a project that offers a unique opportunity to young people from five Balkan countries to write a case-study with a clear focus on assessing the EU performance and provide constructive criticism in one of those countries or in the Balkans as a whole.
Young people aged 18-30 from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Macedonia can participate on this programme.
- The best case study will receive an award of 200 EUR and an invitation to attend the viEUpoint public debate on March 4th, 2013 in Skopje, Macedonia as a speaker.
- The top five case studies will be published as Op-Ed-s in two newspapers and two online portals in Macedonia. These case studies will also be published in a publication on “How the EU can do better in the Balkans” which will be presented during our public debate on 4th of March in Skopje, Macedonia and will be handed out to EU representatives.
How to apply?
Format of case studies: The case study should be from 1500-2000 words in length, typed in 12 Arial font with 1,5 line spacing and contain at least 2 references per page.
The deadline for application is 31 st December, 2012.
The results of the competition will be announced at the end of January 2013.
