About the Puffin Reviev

The Puffin Review exists to give a voice to new writers and journalists.

Getting those first publications is crucial to a writer’s career, not only in terms of building a reputation and a record, but in terms of confidence. There’s also the matter of validation: it helps you cope with the dreaded day-job immeasurably if you have some publications to your name.

The Puffin Review wants to help writers take those first steps to begin making their name.

The winner will be selected by Ros at the Manoir itself, where she will be running a poetry course from 16th – 21st June 2013. Details of the poetry course are available here

    1. Dear Ketiartistil,

Can you specify what you mean by your question? To us at Mladiinfo, poetry and poems seem to be rather the same thing. The Competition is open to poems on the theme of peace and tranquillity, with a maximum word count of 200.

      Kind regards,
      Mladiinfo team
