Description
YO! Fest will be happening in Brussels, Belgium on the 30th – 31st of May 2013. Taking place during European Youth Week and to celebrate 25 years of European Programmes dedicated to Youth, this year’s YO! Fest is guaranteed to be big! The two days will be filled with debates, music, theatre, workshops and more; and you have the chance to be a part of it.
Enter the special contest to celebrate the EU Youth Programme’s 25th anniversary and win a free trip to the YO! Fest 2013 . Are you under 25? Then share your vision on what investing in youth means to you!
The aim is to raise awareness on the importance of investing in youth with the competition and artistic ways as well as reach out to wider audience, to provide a place for young people to present their work and to exchange views and create new discussions on the topic.
The best artistic projects will be invited to the YO!Fest to present their work and take part to round table gathering the different elements of these projects.
There would be three different events:
- Award Ceremony for Top 5 Projects and Unveiling of Photography Exhibition
- Separate slots for the participants to present their videos/photos in public.
- Final Artistic discussion on the common themes of the projects.
Profile of the participants:
- Under 25 years old
- Living in Europe
- Ability to take part to the whole activity (arrive in Brussels on evening of 29th May and depart Saturday 1 June in the morning)
- Be able to present the work in English
- Nomination from a YFJ MO is considered as an asset.
Prizes
Travels and accommodation for the selected participants is covered as well as meals during the event.
