The European Center SN7 and Community Development Institute (CDI) hereby invite you to be part of the youth conference: “Youth and public policy.” The event will take place from 12 to 2 p.m. on 14 May 2013 at the EU InfoCentre in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The conference working languages will be English, Macedonian and Albanian.

The aim of the conference is to review public policies pertaining to youth, increase public awareness for youth rights and promoting the participation of the youth in decision-making processes at the all levels.

The conference “Youth and public policy” is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and strengthen your professional networks and is designed for anyone working with young people and shaping their future. Attendees join together to share ideas, experiences, views and discussing about public policies that affecting young peoples’ lives and rights.

European Center SN7 and Community Development Institute (CDI) are nongovernmental and non-profit organizations and they are not in a position to be able to assist with conference travel or subsistence. There is no fee (for speakers and guest participants) to attend the conference.

Eligibility

The conference is open to all those interested, but mainly dedicated to the people who are actively involved in the field of the non-governmental sector, government representatives, representatives of municipalities, young professionals, young activists, youth workers, students etc.

Application

The conference is open also for guest participants who should confirm their attendance by replying to this email: info@sn7.org.mk by Sunday, May 12, 2013.

The guests will have the opportunity to express their views and opinions about issues related to the topics presented. The number of the guest participants is limited up to 50 persons.
