The Terry O’Neill Photography Award is in its 8th year and recognized as one of the world’s leading photographic awards attracting thousands of entries each year. This year the organizers are taking the Award to the next level to make it the most innovative, accessible and valuable photography prize, providing the winners and runner-ups with unparalleled levels of publicity that set a new benchmark for other photography awards.
The Award launches with a mobile device category sponsored by The Royal Photographic Society. A new distinguished panel of judges from the arts and media community are backed by an international publicity campaign to attract entries from Berlin to Beijing. The judges are seeking dynamic and arresting images that portray a compelling narrative.

Anyone over 18 years old from all over the world is eligible to enter.
Due to popular demand, organizers have changed the time period in which submitted images must be shot. The new criteria is that images must have been shot between 30 November 2012 and 30 November 2013.
Winners will be showcased in Terry O’Neill exhibitions in London and overseas and also featured in the Sunday Times Magazine. The overall winner receives £3,000 and two runners-up £2,000 and £1,000 respectively. The winner of the mobile device category receives £500.
Submit your entry online HERE. Please bear in mind that there is a standard entry fee of £25 or student fee of £10. Unpaid or incomplete entries will not be processed. Payment is by PayPal, during the submission process.
The deadline for entries is 30 November 2013. A statement of no more than 100 words should accompany entries describing the work and the artist’s intent.
