Master and PhD Scholarships at Andrássy University Budapest

Description

Andrássy University Budapest (AUB) is an academic joint venture for Hungary and Europe, which serves as a German bridge in the Danube region. AUB offers an innovative profile for internationality with Budapest as its centre, and follows its motto „Fit for Europe”: Explore, Transfer and Live Europe!

Andrássy University Budapest offers seven master’s programmes and four different PhD programmes at the faculties of International Relations, Central European Studies and Comparative Law and Governance respectively. The programs can be reviewed here.

Admission Requirements

  • First degree;
  • Excellent written and spoken German language skills;
  • (passive) English language skills;
  • Successful entrance examination (Consists of written and oral parts, with the written a prerequisite for the oral. May be taken even if the degree is not yet issued, in which case a confirmation of the accomplished degree is necessary).

Tuition fees: HUF 280,000/semester or EUR 930,-/semester
Duration of studies: 2/4 semesters

Scholarships

You can apply for the scholarship of the Hungarian Republic 2014/2015, the documents for which are available in German here and here. The scholarship amounts 34,000 HUF per month and is in duration of 10 months. 

Furthermore, the students of Andrássy University Budapest may choose from a wide range of scholarship opportunities. More than 50% of the students receive a scholarship, which margins the whole or a part of their expenses. They can find incoming scholarships anywhere they come from and for anything they want to study at the AUB.

With the outgoing scholarships they can study or do an internship abroad for a short time.
