Description

World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is the largest youth organization in the world. The volunteers are supported by a small team of enthusiastic professional support staff at the World Scout Bureau. The World Scout Bureau has offices in eight countries (Belgium, Egypt, Kenya, Malaysia, Panama, the Philippines, Switzerland and Ukraine) and is an equal opportunities employer.

Nowadays, they have open several job positions in the office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the expected start date – no later than 1 October 2014.

Digital Engagement Lead

The Digital Engagement Lead will be responsible for the overall management of all global social media channels of  WOSM and content of the website. He/She will be responsible for monitoring, managing, maintaining and improving the performance of the digital channels of WOSM including the content of the website (scout.org) and global social  media channels of WOSM, as well as the overall digital presence of WOSM. This includes building  and maintaining close working relationships in digital engagements with WOSM’s key stakeholders. Editor & Lead Writer

The Editor & Lead Writer is the message and content custodian of all publications and editorial products of the WOSM. He/She will be responsible for developing and creating compelling ideas and stories that support and enhance the vision and profile of WOSM among stakeholders and the general public. He/She will be responsible for setting the editorial and creative agenda of WOSM by providing the leadership and working closely with WOSM’s key stakeholders including the Regional Offices and National Scout Organizations. Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the social media channels of WOSM. He/She manages all social media activities of WOSM including creating content and responding to queries on social media. The Manager takes care of the implementation of the World Scout Bureau’s Digital Engagement Guidelines across all social media channels of WOSM. Webmaster & Lead Web Developer

The Webmaster & Lead Web Developer will be responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the technical performance, functionalities and security of the website (scout.org) of WOSM . He/She ensures the website is functioning properly with regard to all technical and administrative  aspects, including performance parameters such as speed of access and loading speed.
