The International Association for Political Science Students is calling for applications for the new open position of Design Coordinator. While the design coordinator need not be affiliated with the discipline of political science, he or she will be in charge of all graphic and media design related activities within the association.
Eligibility
The position of Design Coordinator is open for everyone. However, the position requires strong organizational skills as well as an excellent command of at least one of the following: Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign. The design coordinator should have a first-rate command of the English language, a professional level of individual work and time management, the capacity to meet deadlines as well as a self-sufficient and creative attitude.
Volunteering and Benefits
Please note that this is a unpaid job and will last for one year. They don’t have an office and everyone undertakes his/her work from home in their respective country. All of their documents are in a Dropbox, and they communicate online. The selected candidate will be in charge of all graphic and media design related activities within the association. This includes the creation and amendment of existing logos and banners for publications, the webpage and IAPSS events. In addition, managing the publications will include as designing the layouts and handling the typesetting of publications. Lastly, the design coordinator will be in charge of improving and extending the IAPSS corporate identity and creating various info-graphics.
