Description

UniCredit & Universities Foundation aims to promote specialisation abroad of the best European talents in the fields of economics, banking and finance. The call is now open for applications for the 4th Study-Abroad Exchange Programme. The competition offers 20 grants to all undergraduates (in at least their second year) and master students to spend six-month abroad. Applications will be accepted to/from the following countries: Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine. The grants are intended for exchange periods abroad of up to six months, between January 2015 and March 2016.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • citizens of any country in which UniCredit operates: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine.
  • at least second-year students in the fields of economics, finance, banking, engineering management or law and economics;

The students must:

  • either be enrolled at a university in one of the countries within the UniCredit perimeter and wish to spend from 3 to 6 months abroad at any university located in Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine;
  • or be enrolled at a university located in the above five countries and wish to spend from 3 to 6 months abroad at any university within the UniCredit perimeter.

Scholarship

Each winner will receive a monthly grant of €700 (gross) for the entire duration of the period abroad and a fixed amount of €1,000 for travel, visa or any other expenses.

In their application, candidates must name a maximum of three host universities where they intend to spend the exchange period, including only those universities which have an exchange agreement with their home university. The 20 winners will be selected by the Scientific Committee by 30 April 2015.
