Participate at International Summer University (UPISU) in Prishtina

Description

The University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” will organize the 15th edition of Prishtina International Summer University, which will be held from 1-15 July 2015 in Prishtina. UPISU will be offering thirteen credited courses covering a wide range of study fields (more information is provided in the official call). All courses will be held only in English. After the successful fulfillment of the course, the participants will get certificates according to the European System for Transferring the Credits (ECTS). In addition, a recreational program will be offered to the students and personnel, including different excursions and events from the cultural life.

Information for the forums and events will be published widely at the University of Prishtina during the Summer Courses. As set by the traditional program itself, this year’s program also bring together regional and international professors and lecturers for a period of two weeks and provide the opportunity for local and international students to learn and share their experiences.

Who is eligible?

This Summer school is open for all international students that are interested in the course topics.

Costs

The International Summer University distinguishes three categories of non Kosovar participants: Participants that are entitled to a scholarship, those that are not, and international students.

If you are a student in one of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia, you will automatically be considered for a scholarship. If you are not selected for a scholarship you will still be able to receive free accommodation.

As per international Students (Self-Financing, 100 Euro including accommodation, meals, and local transportation) – Participants who do not receive a scholarship will have to cover all costs affiliated with their participation themselves, i.e. travel, visa, accommodation, food, etc. However, they will not be charged any tuition fee. If desired, accommodation can be arranged for these participants in the university dormitory. The cost of staying in the dormitory will be posted on the website and is expected to be around 50 € per week, including 3 daily meals at the student restaurant.
