The organization advises governments, organisations and companies on how to support peace and works with local people in over 25 countries around the world.
International Alert is looking for a detail-oriented candidate to work in the Unrestricted Fundraising Department in London to provide administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the team research prospective donors, companies and trusts who are appropriate for International Alert. The assistant will also help research, coordinate and promote organization´s fundraising events. In addition, there is need for someone who can support the team with day-to-day administrative duties such as thanking donors, recording gifts, liaising with supporters and updating the internal database.
Candidates are expected to be educated to degree level in a related field. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are also necessary as wel as the ability to adapt own style for different target groups. All applicants must be able to multitask – taking on various responsibilities whilst balancing the time efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Experience of using a fundraising database is also essential. All job applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
The position is remunerated by salary of GBR 23,206 per annum and excellent benefits.
