Description

The new International Max Planck Research School for Brain and Behavior at the University of Bonn and Florida Atlantic University in collaboration with the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience and the Max Planck associated Center for Advanced European Science and Research (caesar). The school offers a completely funded international PhD training and research program in the neurosciences – in either Bonn, Germany or Jupiter, Florida.  The deadline for applications is December 1, 2015.

For all interested candidates, this makes an exciting opportunity to join a competitive world-class training and research program in neurosciences – will mean a first step for them to build a solid network with an exceptionally broad group of international scientists.

Eligibility

The PhD program is open to candidates holding a Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or other relevant subjects. Students currently working on their Master thesis are also encouraged to apply.

Scholarship

The IMPRS for Brain and Behavior will provide financial support for the duration of your studies. Up to 10 positions will be funded depending on the qualifications of the candidates. PhD position is funded for the duration of three years with the possibility for an extension if warranted.
