Call for External Consultants for OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission in Macedonia

Description

Following an official invitation to observe the early parliamentary elections scheduled for 24 April 2016 in Macedonia, based on the findings and conclusions of the Needs Assessment Mission deployed from 2-5 November 2015, and in accordance with its mandate, the OSCE/ODIHR is preparing to deploy an Election Observation Mission (EOM) for these elections. All assignments are temporarily contracted positions and their duration will be for approximately twelve weeks. Candidates should be available from the middle of February and be prepared to depart at short notice.

In this respect, the OSCE/ODIHR is currently looking for external consultants to fill the following positions:

  • Head of Mission;
  • Deputy Head of Mission;
  • Political Analyst;
  • Election Analyst;
  • Legal Analyst;
  • Media Analyst;
  • Co-ordinator of Long-Term Observers.

Eligibility

Candidates must be citizens of OSCE participating States, excluding citizens of the Republic of Macedonia.

Remuneration

Remuneration will depend on qualifications and experience, and will be in accordance with established OSCE rates. Coverage of travel expenses and a standard per diem will be provided by the OSCE/ODIHR, in accordance with OSCE travel policies.
