The Schindler Global Award Competition

Deadline: 30 October 2016
Open to: final-year bachelor’s and all master’s degree students of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design
Award: over EUR 100,000 in different prizes

Description

The Schindler Global Award (SGA) ideas competition asks students to put their skills to the test and participate in the making of livable and sustainable urban environments – with mobility in mind. Mobility systems move people, goods and ideas over road and rail, sea and air, and through neighborhoods, regions and the world. Mobility is a catalyst and a conduit for globalization and urbanization – and for the creation of better lives and neighborhoods.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all students in their final year of study, including thesis year, in a bachelor’s course and those enrolled in a master’s course at a worldwide university or college of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and planning, and their international equivalents.

Awards

With over EUR 100,000 in prizes, the Global Schindler Award will recognize one winning competition scheme along with runners up and grants.
