Description
The Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS) seeks applications for the position of Researcher/Project Coordinator, in the framework of the Open Society Initiative for Europe’s Think Tank Young Professional Development Program for MA and PhD graduates. AIIS has been ranked for 4 years in a row as one of the best think tanks in Central and Eastern Europe.
Eligibility
- Residents in Albania during the entire period of the program, the position is in-office and full time (in Tirana);
- Graduates of MA or PhD (or LLM) in social sciences preferably International Relations, Political Science, European Studies, Economics;
- Fluent in English and Albanian;
- Able to work as part of a team and under deadlines, have good communication skills;
- Up to or less than 35 years old (program requirement).
Remuneration
- This program facilitates the placing of young graduates in selected host institutions for a period up to 6 months, starting November 2016;
- AIIS offers to extend this period upon completion of the first program if the satisfaction with the candidates’ performance justifies such a decision.
