Description

The Regional Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratization the Caucasus is established with the financial support of the European Union. It is a part of the Global Campus for Master’s Programmes and Diplomas in Human rights and democratization around the world. The MA is implemented in cooperation with the Global campus of Human Rights, and in partnership with leading universities of Armenia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Georgia

WHY TO APPLY?
• Interdisciplinary programme with legal, political and multidisciplinary components;
• One-year intensive programme which grants 60 ECTS.
• Implemented by consortium of 4 universities
o Yerevan State University (home university),
o Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (host university),
o Belarusian State University (host university),
o Tbilisi State University (host university).
• Taught in English and Russian.

Eligibility

The GC Caucasus programme is open to all interested applicants who hold bachelor’s Degree or a Degree equivalent to Bachelor’s, coming  from post soviet countries. The applicant shall also be fluent in English and Russian, have professional and/or research interest in human rights and democratization issues. Academic and/or professional experience in abovementioned fields is an asset.

Benefits

The programme foresees full and partial scholarships for up to 25 students from target countries for academic years 2021-2022. The Scholarship covers tuition fee, travel and living expenses. The priority will be given to non-resident students.
