UniCredit and Universities Best Paper Award

Prize: €5,000 for two best papers each

Description

In cooperation with UniCredit Women’s International Network (UWIN), UniCredit & Universities Foundation is launching the fourth UWIN Best Paper Award, aimed at all young economists and researchers from the 17 countries  in which UniCredit operates.

The prizes will be awarded to two outstanding papers on Gender Economics.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all young researchers from the UniCredit area who meet the following requirements:

  1. They must be either citizens of one of the 17 countries where UniCredit operates or currently employed or enrolled in a Ph.D. programme at a university or institution located in any of these 17 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine;
  2. Should were born after 1978.

Prize

The two best papers will receive €5,000 gross each and will be published in the Working Paper series of the Foundation.

Application

Applications must be accompanied by the following documents (in PDF format):

  • Curriculum Vitae;
  • a copy of a current identity document (in the original language);
  • a declaration of consent to handling of the candidate’s personal data pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

Applications must be received by the compulsory deadline of April 30, 2014. 

Authors of awarded papers will be notified by May 31, 2014. The winners might be asked to present their main findings at workshops/events/initiatives to be held at UniCredit.
