IAPSS Needs Fundraising Coordinator!

Description

The International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) based in The Netherlands, is the only organization supporting students of political science worldwide. With an increased international cooperation, the events (summer schools, study trips, and conferences) organized by the Association have gained in size and frequency. Since adequate financing is necessary to support the high quality of those events, grant applications and fundraising are crucial factors within the Association.

The Executive Committee is currently seeking to assign a Fundraising Coordinator who will work with the Head of International Cooperation and secure successful grant applications and funding requests. The position takes place on-line.

Tasks

The Fundraising Coordinator will:

  • Draft and submit grant applications to corporate, governmental and non-governmental institutions;
  • Research grant and funding opportunities with the Department of International Cooperation.

Eligibility

The Association seeks highly motivated individuals with strong organizational skills, high degree of autonomy, professional level of communication, efficient time management, and strong detail to deadlines. Prior grant application and fundraising experience is considered a plus.

Benefits

The position is unpaid with 3-4 hours of workload per week. The successful candidate will be in touch will numerous interesting organizations, will gain excellent professional experience, and work in an international environment.

Travel expenses for both annual and in-person meetings will be partially covered by IAPSS and through successful fundraising.
