SciChallenge is a European-wide contest for young people, who are excited about NATURAL SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING or MATHEMATICS

You can choose a topic from our 50 topic sheets or you can also work on a topic of your choice and create a poster, a presentation or a video.

BEST, Board of European Students of Technology, is a non profit student organisation. It is run by students, working for students. BEST organises different activities where students from member universities get the opportunity to increase their international experience, establish contacts, improve their English and have fun. Each BEST Course is attended by 20-30 students of engineering.

Local BEST groups arrange short (1-2 weeks long) courses throughtout the year, where engineering students get the chance to learn more about a specific topic in their field of interest. BEST also organises seminars on educational issues, engineering competitions and leisure events.

The Special Scholarship Program (SSP) was established in 2003 to support the development of advanced research at the University through the contribution of highly capable doctoral students. Though the 3-year curriculum, Kochi University of Technology (KUT) provides a comprehensive education in the multidisciplinary environment in the engineering area. Every year, KUT enrols approximately 15 selected doctoral students to work on specific research projects.
