University of Pardubice

The University of Pardubice (UPA) is the only higher university-type educational institution in Pardubice region. The University has been extending an sixty year long tradition of higher education in the city of Pardubice. The University belongs with about 10,5oo students to the middle-sized universities in the Czech Republic. International cooperation is maintained with over 220 universities and 30 research institutions in 40 countries.

The University consists of seven faculties and one institute:
– Faculty of Chemical Technology,
– Faculty of Economics and Administration,
– Jan Perner Transport Faculty,
– Faculty of Arts and Philosophy,
– Faculty of Restoration,
– Faculty of Health Studies,
– Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics,
– Centre for Material Science.
