Research Assistant, Centre for Medical History, UK

Starting salary: £24,273 per annum

Applications are invited for a research assistantship for three years at the Centre for Medical History, Exeter University, working in collaboration with Professor Joseph Melling in researching the environmental history of design and buildings, including working life.

The post-holder may undertake research into the social and cultural history of living and working space, with particular reference to the medical and environmental impact of buildings. Candidates should have a background in the humanities, social sciences or human sciences, with a strong and proven interest in modern environmental and/or medical history.
