Lecturer, International and Comparative Politics

American University of Central Asia is calling for applications for a teaching position in International and Comparative Politics department. We seek faculty with a deep appreciation of the liberal arts and a willingness to contribute to the development of our inter-disciplinary, interactive and student-oriented learning environment. Faculty members at AUCA teach three to four courses per semester and are actively engaged in student mentoring, supervision of senior projects and university-wide activities. The language of instruction is English.

Requirements

– Masters or PhD in Political Science, International Relations or related areas
– Fluent English
– Teaching experience preferred

*The ideal applicant will be able to offer both introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses. Preferences will be given to candidates whose teaching interests and experience lie in International Relations (International Relations Theory, Foreign Policy Analysis, Conflict Studies and related).
