  1. I am passionate about studying Master in Tourism Management. Currently I have a bachelor degree in hotel and hospitality management from Moi University from Kenya.

I have received the information about the scholarship so late that I could not process the required documents in time. I humbly appeal for an extension.

I am a Kenya Citizen aged 25 years old, exposed to various facets of Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism Management.

I look forward to your kind considerations

    Thanking you in advance

    Okumu Victor Omondi (Mr.)

    1. OKumu, dear,

      First of all,

"Please note that Mladiinfo does not give scholarships or any financial support, but only informs about different opportunities. Click on the direct link to the official page above to apply for the program."

And then, the competition is usually very tough and the rules are strict – no extensions are possible. I can only advise you to try to apply next year, if they open the Erasmus Mundus program again.

      Good luck,

      Kristina, mladiinfo

  2. To whom may it concern

    Dear sirs

I am passionate about studying Master in Tourism Management. Currently I have a bachelor degree in French language and literature from Ferdowsi university of Iran. Besides, I can speak Germany, Turkish, and Spanish fluently.

I am an Iran Citizen aged 23 years old, exposed to various facets of Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have received the information about the scholarship through the internet, as a matter of fact, I have already passed several applied courses in tour leader, technical management of travel agencies, general hospitality management and professional hospitality management and I have been working with several tour and travel agencies since 2 years ago. I have also obtained an IELTS degree (7.5), moreover 2 of my professors in tourism institute whether I took mentioned courses can write you recommendation letters. So I want to whether I am eligible to apply for the master Erasmus MundusMaster – Tourism Management.

I look forward to hear from you soon

    Thanking you in advance

    Yours sincerely

  4. Hi all!

I have just one question about scholarship category A. It says "Category A scholarship – students who are nationals of a Third Country … who have not carried out their main activity (studies, research or work) for more than 12 non-consecutive months over the last 5 years in one of the 27 EU Member States …" I have already been studying in EU, so there goes first 10 months. But now I am invited to work as an au pair in EU until August 2012 and there goes 8 more months.

My question is, is au pair considered as a "main activity"?

Au pair is actually a cultural exchange but I have to be sure how EMTM commission would regard this? Because if they consider au pair as a main activity then I will refuse the offer since it will surpass the 12 months rule, if I understood it right.

    1. Dear Ivana,

Your question is quite specific, so I would advise you to direct it to the Consortium Secretariat (emtm@emtmmaster.net) as they will be able to give you a precise answer.

      Kind regards,
