Photo contest: “Equal opportunities for all”

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, supported by the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje started with the implementation of the promotional campaign for raising the public awareness for anti-discrimination and equal opportunities.

In the frames of the campaign a competition for best photography on the subject “Equal opportunities for all. Do not discriminate!” will be organized. All students from the universities around the country are eligible to participate.

The winner– the photographer of the best photo will take the first place at the competition, as well as professional camera and recognition from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the OSCE. The photographies will be evaluated by an eminent commission.

Rules of the competition

Direction: Do we live in a world free of prejudges? How do you define the term discrimination?  Equal opportunities for all – myth or reality?

The candidates should qualify according the following terms

  • To be in the age frame of 18 to 25 years old.
  • To be regular or part-time student on private or state university registered in RM.
  • One candidate should send 3 (three) photographies the most connected to the subject.
  • The photographies should be in color and/or black and white.
  • The photographies should be taken by analogue or digital camera.
  • The materials should be sent on the following electronic address www.ednakvimoznosti.mk, with your correct contact information (name and surname, address, telephone).
  • The photo material should not be previously published.

The applicants can send their material in digital format at the internet site www.ednakvimoznosti.mk or in hard copy at PO.773, 1000 Skopje, to competition – photography “Equal opportunities for all. Do not discriminate!”.

  • The competition starts from 07.11.2010.
  • Deadline for sending the photographies is 01.12.2010.
