Training Program on Entrepreneurship, Skopje

Analytica in cooperation with the Swiss NGO “SEED welcomes people of age 18-30 to take advantage of our project on micro-entrepreneurship. The project is funded by CSD and Youth for Development.
The goal of the project is to train 20 young men and women in Macedonia in starting new businesses as a way for social development.

Activities and Project Dates

  • Development of business ideas: online tutoring (31 January 2011 – 31 March, 2011)
  • Development of your business plan: entrepreneurship workshop in Skopje, Macedonia (11 – 15 April, 2011)
  • Refinement of business plans: online tutoring (April-May, 2011)
  • Final Workshop with local enterprises in Skopje, Macedonia (16 September, 2011)

Trainers

Luca Botturi holds a Ph.D in Communication Sciences from the Università della Svizzera Italiana, and is now coordinator of research ad the Department Formation and Learning in Locarno, and project coordinator of seed, a Swiss social business which he funded. Luca is active as adult trainer in teacher education and entrepreneurship support. In past years he worked as free-lance web designer, as IT consultant and as trainer, both in distance and face-to-face programs.

Vanessa Viganò holds a Bachelor degree in Communication Sciences from the Università della Svizzera Italiana, and has enjoyed a rich and varied self-entrepreneurship career in graphic design, web design and jewelry-making. She collaborated with seed in a micro-enterprise support project in 2010 in Ecuador.

Terms of Enrollment

Candidates should be students, young graduates, working individuals as well as young entrepreneurs. The call is open to residents of Macedonia only.

English is the working language for the entire program; therefore good command of English is a prerequisite for enrollment.

The program will allow you to work on your concrete business ideas. In order to apply for enrollment, candidates should send

  1. motivation letter
  2. short CV and
  3. sketch of their business idea in English

to info@analyticamk.org or aselami@analyticamk.org. Up to three people can enroll for working on the same business idea.
