International Telekom Beethoven Competition for Pianists

Open to: pianists  from all over the world from 17-31 years old
Registration Fee: 50 EUR
Award: 3 finalists will receive cash prizes worth EUR 60,000 and be offered concert dates in Germany and abroad

Eligibility

Pianists from all nations as well as stateless persons can take part in the Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn; your year of birth must be between 1979 and 1993 inclusive. A selection commission will choose 24 participants from all the completed registration forms received; they will be invited to the first round in Bonn.

Awards

The three finalists will receive cash prizes from Deutsche Telekom AG worth EUR 60,000 in total, as well as being offered numerous concert dates in Germany and abroad during the 2012/2013 season. You can view full details of all the prizes here.

Application Process

The application phase for the fourth International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn has begun. Send us the application form through the post by May 31, 2011 or apply online.

With your application, you must submit recordings of yourself playing pieces from the qualification-round repertoire, along with a self-presentation. The registration fee is EUR 50. Please send your application, including all necessary additional documentation, to the following address:
