The International Research Center for Legal Solutions was founded in 2011 and is dedicated to the study of legal issues associated with the use of force, self-defense, aggression, armed conflict, cyber-security, terrorism, self-determination, humanitarian interventions, pro-democratic interventions, genocide and other concepts of international law that bear significant meaning for the future of mankind.
IRCLS is looking for 10 talented online interns with a strong background in public international law. Internship responsibilities will mostly include research assistance, but interns may also be asked to handle administrative tasks, database development, editorial help and PR.
Monitoring developments and conducting research; developing and maintaining a database of legal materials, documents and case-law; summarizing materials as directed, collecting and assembling data; providing a full range of administrative support for the center.
Students with a background or interest in public international law, human rights, security/peace studies and international affairs are preferred, though others are accepted. Candidates should have relevant research experience, writing and editing experience, excellent organization and communication skills, strong MS Office skills and Internet research skills, and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload. Interns are expected to work at least 10 hours per week with a minimum 2 month time commitment.
Online internships are unpaid.
