Orange magazine is looking for a layouter, photographer and a video journalist to be part of the team of young journalist to report  from the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum in Bonn, Germany, between 19-22 of June 2011.

Young professional journalists as well as journalism (graduate) students are eligible to apply; age limits: 18-35.  The applicants should have a very good command of English. Accommodation and subsistence costs in Bonn will be covered by Deutsche Welle. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 600 euro.

The Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum : “Human Rights in a Globalized World. Challenges for the Media”  is a congress with international reach. It draws media representatives from around the world – including many of Deutsche Welle’s partners – and people from the fields of politics, culture, business, development cooperation and science. In their interdisciplinary exchanges they design approaches to meeting the challenges of globalization in which the media plays a central role. Orange Magazine is an event magazine and an online platform produced by European Youth Press at different international events since 2007 which aims to offer international professional experience to young journalists through a learning-by-doing approach. Over the past four years, young Orange journalists have reported from over 40 events such as: the United Nations Human Rights Conference in Paris, France (2008), the NATO Afghan Student Forum in Pisa, Italy (2007), the first Asia-Europe Young Urban Leaders Dialogue in Madrid, Spain (2008) and the XVIII International AIDS Conference, Vienna, Austria (2010).
