Master Programmes in EU Institutions and Policies and Political Management, Macedonia

The Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – Political Science Department at the Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is calling for applications for the Master Programmes in EU Institutions and Policies and Political Management.

The Political Science Department has developed several MA modules. First and foremost being the two TEMPUS sponsored MA programs dedicated to European institutions and policies as well as Political management. These programs are implemented entirely in English and require two years of study. The programs follow three phases: teaching and exams, internship in a renowned domestic or foreign organization (4th semester) as well as MA thesis defense (4th semester – end of program).

As a continuation of the successfully concluded TEMPUS project in cooperation with the University of Graz, the University of Pilsen, and experts from Germany and the Netherlands, this fourth generation of MA students will benefit from courses held by foreign professors from the EU and the US, as well as the highly specialized library and computer facilities available for the students.

Eligibility

The MA Programmes are designed for students with background in the fields of public and  government services, journalism, political science and social science research. Programmes will be conducted completely in English, therefore a fluency in English is required.

Scholarships

Scholarships from the Government of The republic are Macedonia are available to the candidates after they have obtained a position at the faculty.

Application

Entry requirements:
1. Registration application;
2. BA Degree;
3. English language proficiency certificate;
4. Curriculum of the BA studies that he/she attended (only for students that have finished their BA studies of minimum 180 ECTS at another faculty).

Scanned copies of BA Degree and English language proficiency certificate should be sent at polsci.tempus@gmail.com until September 11th 2011. Applicants without English language proficiency certificate can apply and will be called for an interview for the final ranking. The final deadline for applications is September 22nd.

The tuition fee is 600 EUR per semester (500 EUR for the students with 180 ECTS BA Degree from the Law Faculty Iustinianus Primus).
