Description

The Centre for Intercultural Dialogue in it’s strives to achieve its’ aims in partnerships with other organizations from Europe and beyond offers opportunities for youth leaders and youth workers from Macedonia.

The aim of the training course “NAME IT!Youth Work and Communication Approaches to Manage Conflicts” is to train youth-social workers and active youth with past experiences in voluntarism and accessing policies on non violent management of conflict, to make them able, on their way back home, to manage local and international voluntary projects targeted to young people with fewer opportunities, to intervene in case of needs and to promote their active participation to the community life. In order to provide the participants of new tools to observe the conflict dynamics from other perspectives and to decide how to intervene, a specific session on communication and facilitation will be developed during the project: all the activities foreseen aim to further develop the quality of support systems for youth activities and to develop some quality standard criteria could be adopted in the projects on social inclusion.

Costs

There is a small participation fee of 450 MKD. The food and accommodation is provided, and 70% of the travel costs will be reimbursed.

Eligibility

The call is open for young people from Macedonia. Because the official language of the training is English, an English proficiency will be required.
