Description
Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) would like to announce a scholarship for the following Spring Semester. All scholarships are in form of a tuition-waiver, for duration of one year, with a possibility of renewal based on student performance. Spring Semester will start January 2013.
TUMS is the symbol of excellence in medical higher education in Iran. It is the country’s top research university, with an annual government grant of One Hundred Million Dollars. Each year about 2,000 students join different Schools of TUMS. They are selected by passing a highly competitive National Entrance Exam.
TUMS offers undergraduate and graduate levels of study in a variety of disciplines. The top three schools are The School of Medicine, The School of Dentistry, and The School of Pharmacy. You can see more information about the international campus here.
Admission and Entry Requirements
TUMS-IC admits international students who meet the academic admissions criteria. TUMS-IC believes all individuals should have the opportunity to further their education. Qualified students are admitted regardless of age, color, religion, gender, national origin, level of family income, or physical ability. Applicants for admission to TUMS-IC may receive guidance and assistance from the Admissions Office on the TUMS-IC campus. The Admissions Office provides materials to help applicants learn more about the University.

Application
All applicants for Ph.D. level, interested to continue their education in medical Sciences at TUMS should complete TUMS application form, by August 31, 2012.
As well, please review TUMS application guidelines, an IELTS of 5.5 is recommended for all scholarship applicants. All Ph.D. applicants must include summery of their research proposal (at most 3 pages) as an attachment to question 35 in our graduate application form.
