In the framework of the celebration of the International Volunteer Day, 5 December, European Center SN7 organizes a conference on the topic “Challenges and opportunities of volunteer work”. European Center SN7 is a nongovernmental, non-profit and independent organization. Established in 2010, with headquarters in Tetovo, it works and operates throughout the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. European Center SN7 is committed to spreading the European spirit and ideas to us. The aim of the conference is to increase public awareness of volunteer work, facing the challenges and discussing the best opportunities for the volunteers.
Participants will join together to share ideas, experiences, views and their passion for volunteering.

Eligibility

The conference is open to all those interested, but mainly dedicated to the people who are actively involved in the field of the non-governmental sector, volunteers, representatives of volunteers’ centers, young activists, youth workers, students etc.

Venue, date and working language

The conference “Challenges and opportunities of volunteer work” will take place on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, from 12:00h – 14:00h, at EU InfoCentre in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Working languages of the conference are Albanian language and Macedonian language.

Application

Papers/submissions by speakers will be considered on any related topics. The deadline for sending abstracts is November 27, 2012. The abstracts with maximum length of 150 words should be sent to the e-mail address: info@sn7.org.mk. If an abstract is accepted, a full length papers (up to 900-1000 words) should be submitted by Sunday, December 02, 2012.

Guest participants

The conference is open also for guest participants, who should confirm their presence in the conference by Sunday, December 02, 2012. The guests will have the opportunity to express their views and opinions about issues related to the topics presented. The number of the guest participants is limited up to 35 persons.

Dear sir/madam,we are a community based voeuetlnr organization working in kibera slums in Nairobi Kenya , kibera is the largest slums in Africa .We also work with other communities in some parts near Lake Victoria. We also do slum tour for those who may need to visit kibera and see projects or developments which are going on in the village. Back to the voeuetlnr programs, we work with childrenhomes ,community schools,HIV & AIDS Women training empowerment project ,Youth projects ,Environmental projects, jewelry & handicraft project , we do placement of voeuetlnrs in the a bove projects in kibera slums and rural areas . We normaly charge a little fee to carter for voeuetlnrs when they are in their new place of work. We request if we can be listed in your list of Volunteer organization in Kenya Africa , we will appreciate very much if our name will be listed and added to Kenya Africa list.
