Description

The Institute of Social Sciences Odesa Mechnikov National University and Swedish Radiation Safety Authority organize the IV Summer School on Nonproliferation Issues, which provides high quality up-to-date training in a wide range of specially selected methods. The main aim of this Summer School  professional training the new generation of nonproliferation experts in Ukraine.

Main Topics of the Summer school are as follow: 

  • Missile proliferation & control issues
  • The current system of export control in Ukraine
  • Regional nonproliferation challenges
  • Nuclear energy and security
  • Illicit trafficking cases

Eligibility

  • Graduate students of the universities of Ukraine, Russia, Moldova or Georgia (humanitarian and technical specialties)
  • Ph.D. students
  • Young experts ( governmental & nongovernmental organizations and industries)
  • Knowledge of English is obligatory

Costs

There are available grants which are to covers the following:

  • travel costs
  • accommodation
  • meals
