Description
The Young European Federalists or JEF Europe and JEF Sweden have now opened a call for the “European citizenship in united Europe” training for youth workers and youth leaders as well as other multipliers in the youth field. It will take place from 30 September – 7 October 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden. The training course strives to encourage the development of a critical, democratic and creative European Citizenship as an active social, political and cultural role to construct a shared Europe. The promotion of European Citizenship has been a long-standing priority of the Young European Federalists and with this course they are aiming to explore what are the next steps needed to increase youth’s interest in Europe, with a particular focus on the 2014 EU elections.
Eligibility
The training is open to youth workers and youth leaders as well as other multipliers in the youth field from: Sweden, Belgium, Finland, Spain, Bulgaria, Italy, Malta, Netherlands and Switzerland (4 from Sweden and Belgium and 3 from each of the other countries).
Costs
Selected participants are requested to pay the participation fee: €50 for JEF-members and €70 for non-members which includes 7 nights in hotel with meals (from 30 September dinner to 7 October breakfast). Furthermore, 70% of travel costs will be reimbursed.
