  • Children at the of age 6-15 and one leader. Exceptionally they welcome teenagers among them (max. 16 years old), however they cannot be the majority of the group;
  • The children need to have particular skills in the art they perform and be ready to teach their skills and traditions other participants of Brave Kids;
  • Children belong to artistic groups. It can be a grass-roots organization started by children or NGO (or other kind of organization) that works with children using performing arts for social change.

Costs

Children stay with Polish, local families in tandems. Host families provide them with accommodation and food, as well as organize free time. The host families are important part of the project to give a practical lesson of intercultural dialogue and learning.

For groups from developing countries Brave Kids program covers the costs of flights and Schengen visas, however they do not pay for issuing passports and costs related to issuing visas. They expect from all groups to take an active role in finding the funding for covering some of their expenses.
