Do you like travelling the world? Then why not turn your passion into your profession! You are being offered the ultimate travel job for 6 months. Apply now as a SWISS Explorer and travel all around the world. You’ll visit the trendy venues and experience cultural and gastronomic highlights. You will test the travel tips on the new swiss.com website, and add your own to them. And you will blog, report, film, document and twitter from all four corners of the globe, becoming a stylistically confident, critical, independent ambassador for the Swiss airline.
The starting date for the selected candidate will be upon agreement. Zurich, Switzerland and all over the globe will make the venue of your workplace.
You are eligible if you have/if you are:
- Cosmopolitan personality with a strong command of written and spoken English;
- Exceptional creativity, with a keen eye for graphic presentation;
- A natural entertainer who would enjoy in creating a lively, high-quality content for the new swiss.com page;
- Strong photographic skills and an intermediate or higher level of ability in shooting and editing video.
As a general rule, in order to qualify for the application and selection process for the role of SWISS Explorer, you must be a legal adult, with no criminal record, and be a citizen of Switzerland or a member country of the European Union.

Application process
If you would like to be a SWISS Explorer, then please send the organizers: (1) a letter of application (including salary requirements), (2) your CV, (3) a travel report and (4) a video portrait of yourself. The video is your opportunity to win points with the jury and at the public vote. You’ll also be able to share your application video with your friends on Facebook so they can vote for you. The three candidates with the most votes will receive a wildcard, and will go on to the next round. For that, they will be invited to an official job interview with SWISS in Kloten. Every voter will as well have the opportunity to win one of 10 European flights for 2 people.
In addition to the 3 direct candidates, the jury will select 7 other candidates who will also be invited to a personal interview.
In the final stage of the application, the 3 finalists will be given a task to perform to demonstrate their skills and abilities. The SWISS Explorer will then be chosen by means of a final public vote, where once again there will be European flights to be won.
