Description
Designboom alongside Deutsche Bank are seeking smart ideas, applications, gadgets, products provided by the bank that aim to support and enhance customers’ experience in relation to the branch experience or their digital day-to-day and life planning bank transactions; or that surprise and inspire them in a positive manner. The winner will be selected by a 8 person committee from Deutsche Bank, Designboom and respected experts. Their decision will be based on the entry depth and your idea of Future Bank. Some important elements are:
- Innovative power: How new is the idea compared with products and services offered on the market by competitors and companies in other sectors? How is the originality and uniqueness of solution regarding the theme?
- Customer impact: How much added value is created for customers? How many customers does the idea target? What is the potential level of enthusiasm for the project?
- Positioning power: What impact will the measure have on the positioning of Deutsche Bank (leadership/advice)?
- Executable design: How is the potential to use the idea as an actual executable design?
Eligibility
This contest is open to professionals, students and design enthusiasts from every country in the world and reached the age of majority under the rules of their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry (ex. 18+ for EU country , 21+years in the USA). Minors, individuals and employees of Deutsche Bank, Designboom and each of their families or any person or agencies who is somehow connected to them is NOT eligible to enter the contest or win a prize.
Award
Selected ideas will be exhibited at an innovation fair in Berlin and the prices are:
- 1st place: 10,000 EUR;
- 2nd place: 5,000 EUR;
- 3rd place: 3,000 EUR.
Application
You can start your application here. After you provide the necessary information you will get an entry in the competition. Afterwards, you can submit your project that must contain:
- A maximum of 6 visuals ( either single or composition images) submitted with captions:
- images should be 818 pixels wide;
- the file format must be only in .gif, or .jpeg;
- max of 200 Kb each file;
- RGB color mode.
2. A maximum of two videos submitted including descriptions. You should use Vimeo or YouTube and include the URL(s) with your submission
