Description

In 2013 Caféba­bel launched monthly ed­i­to­r­ial se­ries, ‘EU­topia on the ground’, which aims to raise consciousness about what Eu­rope re­ally is. Now they need three jour­nal­ists (print or video) and one pho­tog­ra­pher to join this team: you will be writ­ing on the three fol­low­ing top­ics with the sup­port of their local team:

  • Youth un­em­ploy­ment and mo­bil­ity in Eu­rope
  • Youth ini­tia­tives in Vienna
  • Eu­rophilia/Eu­ro­pho­bia and Eu­roscep­ti­cism

You will be writ­ing about pro­jects, ideas, sto­ries, ini­tia­tives and an­gles that will grab peo­ple and make them see what Eu­rope is all about.

Eligibility

Journalists and photographers under 35 years old who live in a Eu­ro­pean coun­try.

Costs

  • Transport: a sum of up to 280 euros is re­im­bursed
  • Living costs: 220 euros is re­im­bursed
  • Accommodation: the team will stay in a hos­tel paid for by Cafébabel
