Description
The Analytica Think Tank invites university students, recent undergraduates and graduates from Macedonia to apply for a residential internship at Analytica. The internship duration is set from 15 September 2014 to February 2015.
Eligibility
Prerequisites for candidates would include excellent research, analytical and writing skills together with an excellent knowledge of English and Macedonians. Candidates should have strong interest in energy issues or more specifically:
- Energy Policy
- Energy Efficiency
- Renewable Energy Sources
- Corruption in the energy sector
- EU Projects
The Think Tank expects that the candidates for this internship opportunity are familiar with the energy related topics and preferably have some engineering background. This is however not an obligation. Candidates should also have some experience in working or studying energy related issues, should be familiar or have experience with EU projects and should know the energy system of Macedonia.
Internship
The selected intern will be given the opportunity to work in Analytica within the regional CSF SEE SEP project which you can review here, and within one/two other local energy projects focused on Macedonia. It is expected that the intern spends 30 hours a week at the office.
Some limited flexibility over the working hours is also available. The internship is paid. Some of the duties of the intern include: data collection, writing policy papers, support project implementation, press clipping, attending events locally and abroad, assisting in organizing conferences and events and helping the work of research fellows.
